The Department of Mental Health (DMH) Has Reorganized
Assembly Bill 102, signed by Governor Brown on June 28, 2011, directs the transfer of Medi-Cal related mental health services to the Department of Health Care Services. Non Medi-Cal related services have been transferred to: California Department of Public Health (CDPH), California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Office of Statewide Health Planning Development (OSHPD) and the new California Department of State Hospitals (CDSH).
